Very nice facility. My son who is 10 yrs old and I went to visit Tony and his team and they were very friendly. With the instruction given we were able to learn and ask questions. Felt comfortable rolling with team. Tony was very knowledgeable and precise in the correct way of teaching BJJ. I will visit more often when in town. 5 stars

We were fortunate to find this school for our son. Corvo is an extraordinary gym, from the instructor to his staff, they are fantastic! They are very good with children and truly care about them. Tony and his staff are really friendly and extremely patient with the kids. It has a family feel that is very welcoming to both new and existing students. We think that speaks volumes for the school and the instructors for making the classes’ fun continually keeping the kids interested and excited about learning. Our son, have learn so much in a short period of time. We have been nothing but pleased with everyone at Corvo.

Three months ago, I walked into Corvo looking to get back on the mats in the first time in years, maybe compete and see where it took me. I can say that after a short period of time, joining Corvo has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in many, many years. In addition to receiving world-class instruction on a daily basis in both gi and no-gi grappling, I’ve gained a brotherhood and joined a family of some incredible people of integrity. Do I need to know jiu-jitsu or Judo to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?

No, you don’t. There are beginner classes available and many of the people who study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu have no prior martial arts training.

Do I need any special equipment to study Brazilian Martial Arts?

Students typically wear a Gi (two-piece garment worn by martial artists.) It is also typical for some students may want to wear a mouth guard. It’s a good idea to have a supply of athletic tape, as well.
